The Community: Women in Business | 3rd Wednesday Meeting | Speaker Brenda Katasy, Owner of Rose Cat Coffee
Join us for an uplifting and meaningful 3rd Wednesday gathering as Brenda Katasy, owner of Rose Cat Coffee and 2025 Inspire Award winner, shares her remarkable journey as a business owner who is changing the landscape of inclusion in Lincoln — one cup of joy at a time.
📅 Wednesday, December 17
🕛 12:00–1:30 p.m.
📍 The Urban Farmhouse Room, 3900 Yankee Hill Rd #127
(Near 40th & Yankee Hill, at the end of the strip mall by Target)
Brenda’s mission at Rose Cat Coffee goes far beyond serving delicious drinks. She is building a business where employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) are abundant, and where inclusion is not a buzzword — it is the standard. With nearly 80% of individuals with I/DD unemployed nationwide, Brenda is actively working to change that, one meaningful job at a time.
At Rose Cat Coffee, employees are supported in discovering their potential, taking pride in their work, and feeling seen, valued, and connected to their community. It’s a place where relationships are built, joy is infused into every cup, and kindness spreads into the world through daily interactions.
Come hear Brenda’s story — her vision, her challenges, her triumphs, and the impact she’s making by creating a business where purpose and hospitality shine equally bright.
